We strive to tailor every trip to our customers’ goals and abilities. We’d love to hear from you! Booking is seamless—just give us a call, or feel free to send a text message or email.
Arkansas requires a fishing license and a trout permit to fish for trout. Youth anglers under the age of 16 are not required to hold a license or permit. Your nonresident or resident fishing license can be purchased for 3 days or as an annual license, valid for one year from purchase. The trout permit is annual, also valid for one year from the purchase date. You can purchase both locally at numerous locations (typically with a driver’s license for ID) or online through the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Please note, we do not provide any licenses or permits, but we will be happy to assist you with the process.

Our fishing is great all year! The White River offers a variety of dynamics, creating incredible opportunities throughout the seasons. From Threadfin Shad kills to microscopic midges, to delicately presenting dry flies in front of rising Browns, there’s a season that’s perfect for you.
While the White River is the most well-known, we also fish the Norfork River, adapting to where the best bite is depending on the conditions. Our focus is always on finding the most productive waters at any given time.
Absolutely! We can provide as many guides as your group needs, as long as the trip is booked reasonably in advance. We have a strong network of experienced guides, including spin fishing guides.
We love teaching fly fishing. Watching both kids and adults learn the sport is incredibly rewarding. There’s nothing like the smile that comes with feeling that first fish on a fly rod! Starting a lifelong passion with the right habits in place makes all the difference. We’d be thrilled to have you experience it with us!
We will provide everything you need for fishing, as well as water and soft drinks. If you’re fishing a full day with us, lunch will also be provided. There will be space in our cooler if you’d like to bring a few beverages or snacks. However, you should consider bringing the following:
There is no need to break the bank on rods, tippet, flies, etc. We provide everything for fishing, and we fish with only the best equipment. We also provide all flies, with no silly limits or extra charges. We tie our own flies, including several guide patterns designed specifically for our waters. If you do have a rod that you love, feel free to bring it! We generally fish 4wts-6wts ranging from 9′ to 10′ in length. For streamer fishing, we use 7wts-9wts with various sinking lines or sink tips.
We’ve found that using our purpose-built jet boats is the most effective way to fish our tailwaters. However, if you enjoy wading, feel free to bring your waders. They also double as great rain gear—just remember, no studs in the boat. Let us know if you’d like to incorporate some wade fishing into your trip. Typically, wading is only possible during minimum flow conditions. While waders aren’t required, you may encounter low flow during your time here and might want to explore on your own!
Fishing with three anglers at a time isn’t ideal—it often leads to tangled lines or interference between the anglers’ fish. We’ve found that fishing with two anglers is the most effective method. However, if you’re in a group of three, we can rotate anglers and fish two at a time. Please note, we charge an additional $150 for the third angler.
We will stay in touch with you as your day on the water approaches. A finalized plan will be made the evening before your trip. Typically, we start around 8 AM, but this start time may be adjusted slightly depending on weather or water conditions. We are flexible on meeting points; generally, we choose the best AGFC access on the most ideal stretch of river based on the scheduled water release. However, we’re happy to meet you at your VRBO, lodge, resort, or in town!
We provide lunch on our full-day trips. Please note that we do not provide lunch on half-day trips, but we do offer water and sodas. We use a local business to prepare our lunches, which vary from light sandwiches to hearty chef salads. They may include chips and cookies, potato salad, pasta salad, or even homemade desserts. If you have special dietary requirements, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to accommodate you. If you’d like more options for lunch, just give us a call, and we can discuss alternatives.
For the safety and comfort of everyone on board, we kindly advise that you leave your pets safely at your rental.
If bad weather arises during your trip, we will seek shelter and ensure everyone’s safety. Weather in Arkansas tends to move in and out quickly, but conditions like prolonged lightning, tornado warnings, hail, or icy roads would be considered dangerous and could affect your trip. Rain is never a concern—we’ll fish in the rain. Keep in mind, there’s always a 100% chance of weather—it could be great, or it could be challenging, but we’re prepared for whatever comes our way. If your guide cancels your trip due to weather related conditions, you will not be charged for the trip and the deposit will be refunded. However, we do our best to fish around inclement weather, taking breaks as necessary throughout the day. Read our Cancellation Policy for more information.
There are no age restrictions on our boats—we love teaching fly fishing, and it’s always a rewarding experience to be part of a kid’s journey into fly fishing. We just ask that you let us know at the time of booking so we can ensure we have the proper life jackets on board (though we typically carry a range of sizes). Please note, however, that 8 hours of fishing can be a lot for younger children. We also guide Dry Run Creek, which is a great option for young anglers looking to begin their journey.
We promote catch-and-release practices to help sustain healthy fish numbers and ensure great fishing for the future.
We understand that life happens and plans change. If something comes up, we encourage you to call us as soon as possible. Our goal is always to share a wonderful experience on the water while respecting everyone’s time and effort. Please refer to our cancellation policy below for more details.

Guiding is our livelihood, and each trip represents time reserved exclusively for you. When cancellations happen, we can’t always rebook that time on short notice. To keep things fair for both our guests and guides, we use the following cancellation policy:
